A legendary character from the novels of Edmond Hamilton, Captain FLAM (or Captain FUTURE, キャプテン・フューチャー) captivated an entire generation thanks to the series produced by Toei Animation and directed by Tomoharu Katsumata, which was first broadcast in France in 1981 on TF1.

Having lost his parents following an attack on their space station, the young Curtis Newton was raised by his companions Grag, Mala and Professor Simon. Their aim: to turn young Curtis into the defender of peace and order in the universe… Years later, he becomes Captain FLAM, the man the interstellar government calls upon when all hope is lost!…
