Azrael The Smurfs (scale 1)

Description

To mark the 60th anniversary of the most famous cat in the world of comic books, I’m delighted to introduce him to you in life-size form. 

With his ginger and white coat, black nose and red tongue, we just want to give him a big hug.

Meow, meow – he’s just adorable.

But don’t be taken in by his appearance – he’s still just as wicked as his master.

Azrael is Gargamel’s cat; he made his first appearance in 1959 in The Smurfs series.

His dream is to gobble up even just one little Smurf, but Gargamel stops him whenever he can. 

Azrael was sculpted to scale by Natacha Gouley, then cast, assembled and hand-painted at the Leblon Delienne workshop in Neufchâtel-en-Bray, France (Normandy).

This 100 per cent Made in France sculpture is numbered and limited to 25 pieces.
