Dumber than Rantanplan, nastier than Joe Dalton – is that even possible? Of course not: here we have two champions, each in their own category! But I might as well say it straight away: the daft idea of putting them together didn’t come from me but from Morris himself. Personally, I wouldn’t have dared. And yet, whilst searching for the iconic image that would best showcase them, I came across this one without a moment’s hesitation! It is, dare we say it, the yin and yang of the comic book! The pairing of two extremes, inseparable from one another, for the worst… and for the worst! We don’t know which will strike first – the treacherous blow with the sledgehammer or the servile lick… Time stands still, but one thing is certain: sparks are going to fly!
