When Cleopatra decided to build a sumptuous palace for Julius Caesar, it was to him that she entrusted the most ambitious — and the most perilous — of tasks: to complete a colossal construction project within an impossible timeframe.
History will tell us that this miracle will never be repeated…
To see this pharaonic project through to completion, our Gallic friends will come to lend him a helping hand… with the aid of a magic potion.
For Numérobis knows full well: success will shower him with gold, whilst the slightest delay will send him straight into the jaws of the sacred crocodiles!
It was with immense pleasure that I delved back into this legendary Asterix album, to bring our little architect to life in three dimensions, in a pose full of humility and hope, in the face of the wonders of the druid Getafix.
