Once again, it was with immense pleasure that I let myself be guided by André Franquin’s artwork to bring this character, whom I am so fond of, to life. The real challenge here was to capture the full vitality of his demeanour: that suspended stride, halfway between concern and suspicion, whilst he holds back our two heroes’ momentum with one hand.
