Sassette the Smurfs

Description

There are over 100 Smurfs in the Smurf family, but there’s only one Smurfette in the village!

In Peyo’s 13th comic book, *Les P’tits Schtroumpfs*, published in 1988, a major plot twist turns everything on its head! ‘Sassette’, the second female Smurf, was born!! And this was all thanks to the three Little Smurfs who had accidentally been turned back into children by an enchanted clock.

Sassette has red hair in two plaits, freckles, and wears pink dungarees and a white bonnet; like all Smurfs, she has blue skin.

For the very first time, just like in the comic book, Sassette has been brought to life as a statuette.

Inspired by Peyo’s work, the sculptor delights us with this magnificent collector’s item.

Sculpted in Normandy, then cast and hand-painted by the Leblon Delienne workshops in a limited edition of 100 pieces, Sassette can now join her friend Smurfette and the other Smurfs.

To mark the occasion, Alain Maury has created an original drawing to accompany each statuette.
